CCS Release Notes – 29 March 2023 – R 23.02.0

Dear Esteemed User,

We are pleased to inform you that we have released the below mentioned upgrades to Cargoes Community System (CCS).  We hope these upgrades will improve your experience while using the application.

These upgrades include new features, enhancement of existing features, process flow changes and fixes to bugs.

Note: In case you are facing any difficulty in accessing the application post upgrade, we request you to logout of the application, clear your browser cookies & cache and then log into the application again.

 

Major Upgrades

Reports

  1. At MICT ITT Containers (Inter Terminal Transfer) are now available in following Reports.

a.      Rail In – Rail Out Report

b.      Tally Report

c.       In Yard Report

d.      Line Report

Import Release

2. At NSICT & NSIGT  shipping Lines, terminal and CFS will be able to create Import Release and generate egatepass for a container only after 9 hours of getting discharged from the vessel.

Driver App on mobile – for vessel, truck & container enquiry

3. Driver App on mobile is now available for all five (5) DP World Terminals in India.

a.      Use on your mobile browser and then select “Add to Home screen” to install the App on your monile home screen.

b.      Select “Guest Login).

c.       Select your desired “Port Location”.

d.      On Favourite Apps Select “Voyage Enquiry” or “Container/Truck Enquiry” to  search for your information.

4. Driver App on mobile will show the hold status if any applied on an Import container. Following holds will be visible.

a.      Custom Hold

b.      Line Hold

c.       Finance Hold

d.      PTI Reefer Hold

e.      Customs DRI Hold

5. Driver App on mobile will show custom scanning remark for an Import Container.

File Upload

6. New File Template “Export Booking Rollover” available to rollover not yet gated in export containers to next vessel.

a.      Users can use the new excel file template to specify New Liner booking number, Container number, Old & New Terminal Vessel Visit Number and new Port of Discharge.

b.      New instruction File provided for guidance.

7. Enhancement in error messages to make them self-explanatory and ease correction of files being uploaded.

Internal Message Processing

8. New API integration enabled with Adani Custom Gate.

9. New API integration enabled for Logistics Data Bank (LDB) at NSICT / NSIGT Nhava Sheva Terminal.

10.  New API integration enabled for SCMTR CODECO.

11.  New Messaging Service – “B2B Monitor” enabled for Application admin users.

Storage In

12.  At IGT, Cochin new service for container “Storage In” has been implemented.

a.      Under “Manage” open “Export Pre-Advice” service.

b.      Users can select “Storage In Full / Storage In Empty” and submit the required details to generate corresponding egatepass.

c.       Storage In supports both Rail & Road movements.

Storage Out

13.  At IGT, Cochin new service for container “Storage Out” has been implemented.

a.      Under “Manage” open “Import Release” Service.

b.      Users can select “Storage Out Full / Storage Out Empty” and submit the required details to generate corresponding egatepass.

c.       Storage Out support both Rail & Road movements

Back To Town

14.  At IGT, Cochin new service for “Back to Town” containers implemented.

a.      Under “Manage” open “Import Release” service.

b.      User can select “Back to Town Full / Back to Town Empty” and submit the required details to submit request for Terminal approval

c.       Once approved by Terminal the corresponding egatepass is generated.

d.      Back to Town support both Rail & Road movements.

EgatePass

15.  Users can now print “Draft EgatePass” in case a transaction remains in “Queued or Failed” status for more than 5 minutes. However, the container will be accepted at terminal gate only if Cargoes Community announces the same on their website/by email.

 This feature is enabled as part of risk mitigation evaluation for Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity Plan.

Minor Update

Berthing Advice

16.  Berthing Advice will show Gate Open and Gate Cut-off date and time only when they are mentioned by Terminal in Berthing Advice module of Cargoes Community.

Voyage Enquiry

17.  Voyage Enquiry will show Gate Open and Gate Cut-off date and time only when they are mentioned by Terminal in Berthing Advice module of Cargoes Community.

EgatePass

18.  EgatePass Print will show Gate Open and Gate Cut-off date and time only when they are mentioned by Terminal in Berthing Advice module of Cargoes Community.

19.  While nominating an egatepass, it is now mandatory to mention both driver name and truck number. In case you remove any one from an Active egatepass, Cargoes Community will automatically remove the other and change the egatepass status to Open.

20.  Fixed an issue due to which duplicate containers would appear on egatepass screen.

21.  Up to 10 IMDG Haz Class and UN Number can now be visible on EgatePass print.

22.  Column for ISO Code has been added to Egatepass search screen.

23.  Error message displayed on EgatePass Print will show correct status allowed.

24.  Custom Scanning Information is now available on EgatePass Print.

Export Pre-Advice

25.  Alert message is displayed on Submit in case a Reefer Export Pre-Advice does not mention temperature.

26.  Alert message is displayed on submitting an Hazardous Export Pre-Advice if you have selected IMDG Class 1 or 7.

27.  Special characters like *, % , # etc will not be accepted in Export Pre-Advice.

28.  While extending the validity of an Export Empty Pre-Advice, an alert message with container number will be shown in case an Export Pre-Advice has been already created for that container. Previously, the container number was not provided in this error message.

29.  All dates in Export Pre-Advice search result will be in format DD-MM-YYYY.

30.  Split booking will accept “-” in Liner booking number search field(Same as Export Pre-Advice).

31.  Users will now be able to amend “Additional details” in an Export Pre-Advice in “Draft” status.

Truck Nomination (MICT)

32.  Alert message asking user to register truck with terminal if the truck being nominated is not registered with the Terminal.

Internal Message Processing

33.   Fixed an issue due to which Driver and Truck details was not transmitted to the Gate Automation System at NSICT / NSIGT, Nhava Sheva. This issue happens when same driver & truck are re-nominated to the same egatepass after cancellation.

34.   Fixed an issue related to retry logic due to which Import Release was stuck in Queued status.

35.   Actual seal information received from Terminal Operating System, post 2 hours after Gate out is now successfully processed in Cargoes Community System.

36.   Container delete message will be triggered only once for each record upon cancelation of corresponding EgatePass. Prior to this fix, under some scenarios this message was triggered twice which resulted in failure.

37.   Improved overall performance of internal batch job for Expiring Export Pre-Advice whose Validity date has passed or whose vessel has sailed.

38.   Improved overall performance of internal batch job for Expiring Import Release whose Validity date has passed.

39.   Retry Logic implemented for Import Release and EgatePass. This feature will reduce the queued issue being experienced today.

Driver App

40.   Configure menu has been removed from the Driver app.

41.   Updated correct links for Terms & Conditions and Help Content on the Driver app.

42.   Status column has been renamed to Container Status to show the location of the container.

File Upload

43.   Alert message in case the Final Port of Destination has not provided during File Upload.

44.   Fixed an issue due to which same File Upload was processed multiple times resulting in duplicate Export Pre-Advice and EgatePass.

45.   Fixed an issue due to which File Upload was stuck in Processing status.

Import Release

46.   Fixed an issue due to which the name of Import, Exporter or CFS was incorrectly displayed for some customers on the Import Release Screen.

Tally Report

47.   Declared Seal information received from Terminal Operating System is displayed in Tally Report.
