We are pleased to inform you that we have released the below mentioned upgrades to Bharat Trade. We hope these upgrades will improve your experience while using the application.

These upgrades include new features, enhancement of existing features, process flow changes and fixes to bugs.

Note: In case you are facing any difficulty in accessing the application post upgrade, we request you to logout of the application, clear your browser cookies & cache and then log into the application again.

Major Upgrades

Company Registration & User Management

1. A brand new and improved way to manage company and user registrations have been introduced. Few of the salient features are as follows:

   1. Existing Users can use your username / primary email ID registered with us along with the password.

   2. New users, the username is auto-generated as firstname.lastname.

   3. Same user can now be associated with multiple companies by using the CONNECT feature.

   4. If you accidently lock your account due to password mismatch, you can use the Forgot Username/Password option to quickly unlock the account yourself.

   5. A user can now self-register him/herself and request to connect with a company. The request needs to be approved by the company.

   6. Company registration is streamlined and divided into multiple pages rather then on single page.

   7. While registering/amending your company, if you don’t readily have all requested details, you can save the registration details as draft and come back later to complete your registration.

File Upload (Multi EPA Creation)

2. New process of creating Multiple Export Pre-Advice (Liner Booking details) in one go has been introduced using an excel file:
a. Shipping Lines / Box Operators can Upload an excel file containing multiple liner booking details to automatically create multiple Export Pre-Advise (EPA).
b. These multiple Export Pre-Advise can be for multiple vessels, multiple port of destination, multiple booking orders etc.
c. Once the Export Pre-Advise is created, you can then nominate your CHA, transporters etc so that they can access the Export Order.
d. The existing Export Pre-Advise service remains unchanged

Berthing Advice

3. A new feature of Terminal Swap has been enabled for Terminal Admin User which allows export transactions to be transferred from a Vessel Visit in one terminal to a vessel visit in another terminal..

4. For a Rail Export, system will not allow submission in case all mandatory fields are not filled.

5. During Form 13 nomination, A Vessel Operating Agent (VOA), can now specify a Consortium Partner (CP) and a Box Operator / Container Operating Agent (COA).

6. While nominating forms, only present and future vessels will be displayed in the parameter of Terminal Vessel Visit.

Import Export Tally Report

7. The Tally report has been detailed by adding information about:

8. A new service, Voyage Enquiry has been enabled under the Track Menu for all end users.

Minor Updates

Export Pre-Advice

9. VGM Required Field has been defaulted to No. Box Operator may still change it to Yes / Auto Approve in case they wish to collect and approve VGM declarations on Bharat Trade.

10. Shipping Line users having multiple roles, can now add Validity date to an Export Pre-Advise.

11. Issue of incorrect closure of Export Cycle due to Gate out of same Import Container has been fixed.

12. Issue of “Unexpected error” while deleting an Export container from Export Pre-Advise has been fixed.

EgatePass

13. For NSICT/NSIGT, a truck having an active trip will not be shown for nomination.

14. IMDG attachment is mandatory to upload for hazardous cargo. Uploading OOG & Reefer attachments are optional.

15. Gate Open and Gate Cut-off time displayed on EgatePass Print has been updated to match with terminal’s existing practice.

16. CFS code will be displayed in the printed EgatePass.

17. Issue of “Container Number Not found”, has been fixed.

18. You can now search with Box Operator Name on the Box Operator Search Parameter on EGP screen.

19. Renamed the field Container Quantity to Forms Nominated.

Import Release

20. Fixed an issue due to which same container appeared in 2 different Import Release.

21. Change in Shipping status from Import to Trans-shipment will now result in removal of container from Import Release.
