CCS Release Notes – 1 June 2022 – R 1.9.0
Dear Esteemed User,
We are pleased to inform you that we have released the below mentioned upgrades to Cargoes Community System (CCS). We hope these upgrades will improve your experience while using the application.
These upgrades include new features, enhancement of existing features, process flow changes and fixes to bugs.
Note: In case you are facing any difficulty in accessing the application post upgrade, we request you to logout of the application, clear your browser cookies & cache and then log into the application again.
Major Upgrades
File Upload Service
New Instruction sheet has been published. Kindly use this instruction file to avoid any issues during File Upload.
It is now possible to nominate a driver and truck using File Upload service. All existing validations of truck nomination will apply.
Validity Date for an Export Pre-Advice for Export empty containers can now be mentioned in File Upload
VGM Required field is now optional. Hence if a user leaves the VGM Required column blank, then application automatically considers VGM Required as “NO”.
New Search criteria for Container Numbers has been added.
Fixed an issue which was causing status to remain in “PROCESSING” even though the file had been successfully processed.
User will get an alert if:
He is uploading an incorrect file format.
He has input any special symbols or invalid character in file being uploaded.
He uploaded a partially filled file i.e. mandatory fields have not been provided.
He has input VGM weight outside the prescribed range (2,500 to 50,000 Kgs)
Scheduled Report
8. New features provided for Scheduled Report
a. Users can now either generate reports and download or send to their registered email ID.
b. To generate a New Report, please click on the “+” sign in the left-hand margin.
c. All generated reports are kept in the inventory for 1 week. After this you will need to re-generate the report.
9. Additional Search filters now available to help you to search for previously generated reports.
Minor Updates
EgatePass
10. Cancel button for Transporter has been removed. If transporter wants to change the truck & driver details, he needs to select the checkbox against the egatepass and click on Nominate button. In the Nominate screen he can remove or amend the Truck and Driver details and press submit button.
11. Fixed an issue which resulted in EgatePass getting rejected/failed due to “un_loading_port_c” error.
12. Users will not be able to edit an egatepass when container changes to LOADED status.
13. Fixed an issue due to which some trucks were not available for Nomination to an EgatePass.
Internal Message Processing
14. The container status from DISCHARGE RECONCILE to DISCHARGED will now be processed within one hour of actual discharge instead of two hours.
15. Resolved issues in processing integration messages due to which transactions were frequently going to Queued Status.
16. Fixed an issue due to which integrations message like Gate messages were getting rejected with “Error 500” by Cargoes Community.
17. Improved performance of internal batch job which updates the Import Release status to Expired once Validity Date & Time has passed.
18. Fixed an issue due to which certain integration messages were rejected with Java Persistence Error by Cargoes Community.
Export Pre-Advice
19. Fixed an issue due to which cancelling an Export Pre-Advice was not cancelling the corresponding EgatePass.
20. User will now get an alert if he uploads an incorrect file format when using Bulk Container Upload feature.
Service Announcements
21. Fixed an issue which was not showing certain Roles while posting Announcement.
Import Release
22. Users can now delete containers from an Import Release in “Partial Gated Out” status. Deletion will now remove the LINE HOLD in Terminal Operating System.
23. The confirmation message displayed on submitting an Import Release has been amended to guide the user on next steps.
