Introduction

The movements at terminal gates are made through this module. Only authorized Cargoes users can view, create, amend, and cancel the gated in and gated out containers for a particular day.

Create a gate move

Sign In: If user is registered, than they can log in to Cargoes and Login by providing their username and password in the login page and click the SIGN IN button.

Alternatively if not registered he can click on Sign Up to register before he can start using Cargoes Services.

 

 

 

Go to Track -> Gate -> Gate Moves

 

The Gate Moves Search page is displayed. Click the "+" icon to create a new Gate In Gate Out.

 

Enter the details in the Gate In Gate Out Details section.

  • Location - Select the location from the Location drop down list. This drop down is populated based on the logged in user.

  • SP Name - Select the name from the SP Name drop down list. The values in this field are populated based on the Location.

 

  • Move Type - Select the type from the Move Type drop down list. The available move types are In and Out.

  • Mode of Transport: Select the mode of transport.

  • Enter the BAT No, Truck Number, Driver Name, and Reference Number in the respective fields.

  • Gate In/Out Date and Time – The auto populated current date and time is displayed. Click the Calendar icon to amend date and time. Gate In/Out Date cannot be future date, it can be past Date and Time.

  • Group Code – Enter the group code of the container.

  • TradeType – Specify the trade type, i.e., if the container is import, export or transshipment.

  • Container No – Enter the container number in the Container No field. After entering the container number, the system will perform a check to see if the container number and trade type matches the data in the system.

  • Request Type – Select the type from the Request Type drop down list. Based on the Container Number selected, system will display all the available request number(s) in the list.

 

  • Request No – The data is auto populated based on the request type selected.

  • ISO Code – This field specifies the container size. This data is also auto-populated based on the container number and request type.

  • Laden Status – Select the status from the Laden Status drop down list. The available status are Full and Empty.

  • Damage Details – Click on the information symbol (marked in the image) to fill the Damage Details. A pop up window will appear as shown in the image on the right.

 

Enter the appropriate value in the Condition, Location, Item, Count, Width, Height, Length, and Remarks fields.

Attachments can be added in the Damage Attachments section by clicking on the Add button. Maximum three attachments are permitted.

Click the Save button to save the damage details.

Maximum 2 MB file can be uploaded and CSV, PDF, JPG, PNG files are allowed.

 

  • Seal Details – The Seal Details info icon will be enabled only when Container number is entered. The Seal Details pop window appears, when the info icon is clicked.

    • Select the Issuer, Status and Type from the drop down list.

    • Enter the number in the Number field and click the Save button to save the details.

 

 

Click the Add button to add the attachments. Maximum five files can be attached. Each file size should be equal to or lesser than 2MB.

 

 

 

After entering all the mandatory fields, click the Submit button to save the data and a pop up window is displayed for the confirmation. Click the Ok button to confirm.

 

The success screen is displayed with the Gate In Gate Out Details in which the Gate In Gate Out Number is unique and generated by system. Click the Back button to go back to the Gate In Gate Out Search screen.

Search & View Gate Moves

To search for the gate moves of containers, go to the Gate Moves page.

In Gate In Gate Out Search page, enter the known search criteria in the respective fields and click the Search button.

More search criteria will be available in Add Criteria

Click the checkboxes available beside Gate In/Gate Out No to download or send an email.

  • Click the CSV button to download and view the selected Gate In Gate Out in the csv format.

  • Click the PDF button to download and view the selected Gate In Gate Out in the pdf format.

  •  

  • Click the Send Email button to send the selected Gate In Gate Out. A Send Mail pop up window appears.

    • Select the format from the Report Format drop down list. The available formats are CSV and PDF.

    • Enter the email id(s) in the Add Mail Ids field. If user wants to send email to multiple users, then user needs to enter all Email IDs by using comma separator in the Add Mail IDs field.

    • Click the Send button to send the Gate In Gate Out as an attachment in the selected format.

 

Edit/Cancel gate moves

In Gate In Gate Out Search page, enter the known search criteria in the respective fields and click the Search button.

The list of search result for which the user is authorized is displayed. Click the Gate In/Gate Out No to view the details.

The selected Gate In Gate Out details page is displayed. Click the Edit button to modify the Gate In Gate Out request.

 

  • Modify the fields which are editable, and click the Submit button.

 

Click on the Ok button to submit the request.

The success screen with Gate In Gate Out Details are displayed.

 

Click on the Back button at the bottom of the screen to go back to the search results.

Note:

  • Gate in Gate Out which was created through Equipment Interchange Receipt service cannot be amended or cancelled by any user.

  • Equipment Interchange Receipt number will be displayed in the table when Gate in Gate Out was created through Equipment Interchange Receipt. And it will be a hyperlink.

View amendment history

On the view page, click the History button to view the amendment history.

The amendment history is displayed. Click the Request ID to view the changes.

 

The amendment history details of the Gate In Gate Out are displayed.

 

Cancel a gate move

Click the Cancel button to cancel the Gate In Gate Out request.

The Cancel pop up window is displayed. Enter the reason for the cancellation of Gate In Gate Out request in the Remarks field and click the Submit button.

 

The Cancellation confirmation is displayed in a pop-up window as below,

 

The Status of the cancelled Gate In Gate Out request is changed to Cancelled.
