Introduction

This section describes the process of creating Container Appointments using speed gate.

Create Container Appointments - Pickup Empty, Drop Off Export

1. There is no change in procedure to create Container Appointments of type Pickup Empty and Drop Off Export for EDO and Export Bookings that are associated with a speed gate. Refer to the Container Appointments User Guide for the regular process.

2. When the user enters the EDO/Export Booking number the system will automatically detect that the EDO/Export Booking is part of a Speed Gate.

3. If the Trucking Company is nominated to create Container Appointments using that speed gate, the system will allow the user to continue.

The system will show the timeslots that were allocated for the specific speed gate when the user selects the Appt Date and Time during Container Appointment creation.

4. If the Trucking Company was not nominated to create Container Appointments using that speed gate, the system will show an appropriate error message.

Create Container Appointments - Pickup Import

1. Navigate to the Container Appointment page using the top navigation bar.

2. Click on the NEW APPOINTMENT button
