Introduction

This service allows users to search for containers using Container Number, BOL and Terminal location.

Container Inquiry

1. Navigate to the Container Inquiry page from the top navigation bar(Track → SHIPMENT → Container Inquiry)

2. User can perform a search using three parameters:

a. Container Number(Up to 100 Container numbers can be provided separated by “,” (or) User can directly copy-paste from excel as well)

b. BOL

c. Location(Default value will be the current location selected in the top navigation bar)

3. Users can click on the arrow to see all search parameters.

Location is mandatory to perform the search.

Either Container Number or BOL is mandatory to perform the search. Users can provide value for both fields as well. In this case, all the Containers provided in the Container Number field along with the Containers associated with the BOL will be retrieved when the user performs a search.

4. Provide values for the mandatory fields and click on the Search icon.

5. Details of the containers matching the given search parameters will be displayed.

Details of on-hire containers will not be fetched by the container enquiry service. Only the active units will be displayed in the search results.

However, on-hire containers can be used to create Container Appointments, and their details will be shown to the user while creating Container Appointments.

6. Click on the arrow corresponding to a row to see more information about the container.

7. The three icons under Additional Details denote Hazard, OOG, and Holds respectively. In case Hazard/OOG/Hold information is present for the container, the respective icon will be highlighted.

Users can hover over the Hold icon to see hold information(if present. ie the icon is highlighted)

Users can click on the OOG icon to see OOG details(if present. ie the icon is highlighted)

Users can click on the Hazard icon to see Hazard details(if present. ie the icon is highlighted)
