Introduction
This page describes how to create an appointment for Container and Truck Visit to the terminal.
Container Appointments
Navigate to the landing page of Container Appointments (Manage → GATE → Container Appointment).
2. User can utilize the search parameters to filter the Container Appointments as required. Provide the required search parameters and click on the SEARCH button
3. Navigate to the Container Appointment page. Click on the NEW APPOINTMENT button
4. User will be navigated to Create New Appointment page.
4.1 Select one of the below Appointment Type from the dropdown.
Pickup Import
Pickup Empty
Pickup Export
Drop Off Empty
Drop Off Export
Drop Off Import
4.2 Trucking company field will be auto-populated
5. The Unit Details to be provided will be dependent on the Appointment Type selected in step 4.1. Follow the NNO-Container Appointment Unit Details to provide the unit details for different types of Container Appointments.
6. Select the Appt Date and Time. More details about the calendar component used for selecting the Appt Date and Time are provided at the end of this page.
7. Once appointment date and time selected, SUBMIT & SUBMIT AND ADD NEW button would be enabled at the bottom right of the page
8. Click on SUBMIT or SUBMIT AND ADD NEW button
9. User will be navigated to the Container Appointment or Create New Appointment page depending on the selection in the previous step with appropriate message as below (Fig1 & Fig 2).
Truck visit appointment can be created only for container appointments with TVA REQD status
Search the container appointments using different search criteria.
2. From the search results, select the Container Appointment(s) that needs to be associated with the Truck Visit Appointment that is going to be created.
3. When one or more Container Appointments are selected, aCREATE TRUCK VISIT APPT button will be displayed at the bottom of the page. Click on the button.
4. A pop up window with respective validation message would be displayed based on different validation check points as below.
While selecting the Container Appointments keep the following points in mind:
The Container Appointments need to have status TVA REQD (Fig 1)
The total size of containers in Pickup container appointments should not exceed 60ft (Fig 2)
The total size of containers in Dropoff container appointments should not exceed 60ft (Fig 2)
All the selected container appointments need to have the same Appt Date and Time (Fig 3)
There should be at least one Trucking Company that is common across the selected Container Appointment.
In the above cases, the system will show error messages as a pop-up user when the user clicks on CREATE TRUCK VISIT APPT button. The user can correct and repeat the process.
5. Once the user clicks on CREATE TRUCK VISIT APPT button (if there are no validation errors), a pop-up with the following fields will be shown.
a. Appt Date and Time (Auto populated and non-editable)
b. Trucking Company -(Auto populated and non-editable)
c. Truck ID - Input field
d. Driver Port Pass ID - Input field
a. Appt Date and Time(Auto populated and non-editable)
b. Trucking Company - Registered Trucking Company Dropdown List
c. Truck ID - Input field
d. Driver Port Pass ID - Input field
6. Once the user provides values for mandatory fields, the SUBMIT button will be enabled. Click on the button.
7. Once the user clicks on the SUBMIT button, a message “Truck Visit Appointment(CCS TVA ID: ) submitted successfully” will be displayed as a top banner.
Users can click on the VIEW button in the banner to navigate to the View Truck Visit Appointment page of the created appointment.
