NNO-Container Inquiry

Overview

This service allows users to search for containers using Container Number, BOL, and Terminal location.

Containers

Steps

  1. Log in to your CCS account, and click SIGN IN.

  2. In the Select Location window, click the drop-down icon and select the location.

     

  3. Click CONFIRM.

     

  4. Go to Track> Shipment > Container Inquiry.

     

  5. User is navigated to Container Inquiry page.

  6. User can perform a search using three parameters:

    1. Container Number (Up to 100 Container numbers can be provided separated by “,” (or) User can directly copy-paste from excel as well)

    2. BOL

    3. Location (The user has to update the location of the port, while initiating the search for containers.)

  • Location is mandatory to perform the search. To change the location, click on the drop-down icon. The user can change the location in the field.

  • Either Container Number or BOL is mandatory to perform the search. Users can provide value for both fields as well. In this case, all the Containers provided in the Container Number field along with the Containers associated with the BOL will be retrieved when the user performs a search.

7. Enter the Container number or BOL that exists in the system and click on the search icon.

8. Details of the containers matching the given search parameters are displayed.

  • Details of on-hire containers are fetched by the container inquiry service. Only the active units are displayed in the search results.

  • All the dates in the search results are in DD/MM/YYYY format.

9. Click the drop-down icon corresponding to a row to see more information about the container.

10. The three icons under Additional Details denote Hazard, OOG, and Holds respectively. In case Hazard/OOG/Hold information is present for the container, the respective icon is highlighted.

  • Users can hover over the Hold icon to see hold information (if present. i.e. the icon is highlighted).

  • Users can click on the OOG icon to see OOG details (if present. i.e. the icon is highlighted).

  • Users can click on the Hazard icon to see Hazard details (if present. i.e. the icon is highlighted).

Request Express Delivery

The user can request for an express delivery of the container.

Prerequisites

  • The Request Express Delivery option is enabled only when the Dispatch Type is SHIP_CONVINIENCE. If there is any other Dispatch Type the option is grayed out, and the user cannot perform Request Express Delivery action.

     

Steps

  1. To request express delivery, click the three dots, as depicted in the image.

     

  2. Click Request Express Delivery.

     

  3. The user can also Request Express Delivery for multiple containers by selecting the checkbox and click REQUEST EXPRESS DELIVERY.

     

  4. Enter the required details and click SUBMIT.

  5. A success message appears on the screen.
    The user receives a confirmation email on the registered email ID.



Import Containers

This service allows users to search for import containers using Container Number and BOL.

Steps

  1. Go to Track> Shipment > Container Inquiry.

     

  2. From the left navigation bar, click Import Containers to navigate to the Import Container Inquiry page.

     

  3. Users can perform a search using two parameters:

    1. Container Number (Up to 100 Container numbers can be provided separated by “,” (or) User can directly copy-paste from excel as well).

    2. BOL.

Either Container Number or BOL is mandatory to perform the search. Users can provide value for both fields as well. In this case, all the Containers provided in the Container Number field along with the Containers associated with the BOL are retrieved when the user performs a search action.

4. Enter the details for the mandatory fields and click on the Search icon.

5. Details of the containers matching the given search parameters are displayed.

6. Click the drop-down icon corresponding to a row to see more information about the container.

Hold / Release

This section helps the users to apply a new hold to a container and remove an existing hold and release the container.

Add Hold

The user can apply hold to single or multiple containers.

Steps

  1. Go to Track> Shipment > Container Inquiry.

     

  2. From the left navigation bar, click Hold / Release to navigate to the Add / Release Hold page.

  3. Users can search for containers using:

    1. Container Number

    2. BOL

  4. Enter the details for the mandatory fields and click on the Search icon.

     

  5. Details of the containers matching the given search parameters are displayed in Search Results section.

     

  6. To add hold, click ADD.

     

  7. The user can also add hold for multiple containers by selecting the checkbox and click ADD HOLD.

     

  8. In the Create Hold section, click the drop-down icon and select the Type of Hold.

     

  9. Click CREATE.
    A message indicating the number of success/failure of holds added appears in the top banner.

Release Hold

The user can release single or multiple containers put on hold.

Steps

  1. To release the hold,

    1. Clicking on the RELEASE button corresponding to a record.

    2. Select multiple records using checkboxes and click on the RELEASE HOLD button at the bottom of the page.

       

  2. In the Release Hold section, click the drop-down icon and select the Type of Hold.

     

  3. Click RELEASE.
    A message indicating the number of success/failure of holds released appears in the top banner.
