Introduction

This section describes how to configure timeslots for a particular duration.

Configure Timeslots

  1. Navigate to the Configure timeslot page by clicking on Manage>>Timeslot Management

     

  2. Click Configure Timeslot on left navigation bar.

     

  3. Select the EDIT button to make necessary configuration changes.

     

  4. “Location” and “Slot Count by” field are auto populated in view mode only. “Slot Count by” defines whether the qty for timeslots are defined per Truck or per Container.

     

  5. Users with privilege can change the following fields:

     

    1. Appt Window Open (Hours): For how many hours from the current time, an appt can be created by a user. For eg: Appt Window Open (Hours) = 72 and current date = 11-May-2023. If a user logs in today (11-May-202), he will be able to create appts for any day up to 14-Mayy 2023. Input Appt window open (In Hours)

       

    2. Pick Up Container Per Visit: Defines the max value of the sum of container sizes of type “pickup” in one truck visit is allowed. Select the respective value from drop down (20 Feet/ 40 Feet/ 60 Feet/ 80 Feet)

       

    3.  Drop Off Container Per Visit: Defines the max value of sum of container sizes of type “drop off” in one truck visit is allowed. Select the respective value from drop down (20 Feet/ 40 Feet/ 60 Feet/ 80 Feet)

       

    4. Timeslot Duration: Defines the timeslot duration and whether it is fixed/variable. Select the respective value from drop down menu (Fixed 30 mins/ Fixed 1 Hr./ Fixed 2 Hrs.)

       

    5. Standby Configuration: This enables waiting list option for appointments creation. This is an optional configuration.The input field will be enabled based on checkbox selection for the value of standby quantity per timeslot allowed. Users can enter the allowed standby appointment quantity per timeslot.

       

    6. Appt Auto Expiry Configuration: Auto expiring container appointments after appointment end time + (x) mins. The input field will be enabled based on checkbox selection for the value of appointment auto expiry. Users can enter the time period in Minutes to set the appointments to expired status automatically, once the appointment time passed.

       

    7. Appointment Update Window: This option will restrict amending appointments at the last minute.The input field will be enabled based on checkbox selection for the value of allowed update window for appointments. Users can enter the time period in Minutes to restrict the  the appointments update.

       

  6. Click SAVE button to save the configuration changes. Click on the CANCEL button to drop the changes and go back to the Configure Timeslot view page

     

  7. Users will be navigated to Configure Timeslot view Page with Info Message
