Introduction
Overview
This service allows users to search for containers using Container Number, BOL and Terminal location.
Container Inquiry
1. Navigate to the Container Inquiry page from the top navigation bar, go to Track → SHIPMENT → Container Inquiry.
2. User is navigated to Container Inquiry page.
3. User can perform a search using three parameters:
a. Container Number (Up to 100 Container numbers can be provided separated by “,” (or) User can directly copy-paste from excel as well)
b. BOL
c. Location Updating the Port Location
To know how to change the default location to DP World Saint John, see Updating the Port Location.
(The user has to update the location of the port, while initiating the search for containers.)
Location is mandatory to perform the search. To change the location, click on the drop-down icon. The user can change the location in the field.
Either Container Number or BOL is mandatory to perform the search. Users can provide value for both fields as well. In this case, all the Containers provided in the Container Number field along with the Containers associated with the BOL will be retrieved when the user performs a search.
4. To update the location while performing the search
.4. Provide values for the mandatory fields , click the drop-down icon as depicted in the image below.
5. Click the drop-down icon in the Location field.
6. Select DP World Saint John.
7. The default port changes to DP World Saint John.
8. Enter the Container number or BOL that exists in the system and click on the Search search icon.
59. Details of the containers matching the given search parameters are displayed.
Details of on-hire containers will not be are fetched by the container enquiry service. Only the active units will be are displayed in the search results.
However, on-hire containers can be used to create Container Appointments, and their details will be shown to the user while creating Container Appointments.
All the dates in the search results are in DD/MM/YYYY format.

10. Click on the arrow drop-down iconcorresponding to a row to see more information about the container.

Information is displayed.
11. The three icons under Additional Details denote Hazard, OOG, and Holds respectively. In case Hazard/OOG/Hold information is present for the container, the respective icon will be is highlighted.
Users can hover over the Hold icon to see hold information (if present. i.e. the icon is highlighted).
Users can click on the OOG icon to see OOG details (if present. i.e. the icon is highlighted).
Users can click on the Hazard icon to see Hazard details (if present. i.e. the icon is highlighted).
Updating the Port Location
The user has to update the location of the port, while initiating the search for containers. As user has to enter the container number or BOL along with location. Here, are few simple steps to update the location.Steps
Navigate to the Container Inquiry page from the top navigation bar, go to Track → SHIPMENT → Container Inquiry.
2. While performing the search, click the drop-down icon as depicted in the image below.
3. Click the drop-down icon in the Location field.
4. Select DP World Saint John.
5. The default port changes to DP World Saint John.
The user can enter the Container number or BOL to initiate the search.
