E-Gate Pass is the sevice for nominating or authorizing a registered Haulier (Transporter/Train Operator) for import container pick up or export container drop off at the terminal. A Nominated Shipper (Importer/Exporter) , Nominated Freight Forwarder, Box Operator, Nominated Custom Broker, Nominated CFS or a Nominated Haulier can use this service to assign a Haulier and a truck for his containers.

If User is registered than he can log into www.bharattrade.in and Sign in by providing his Username and Password in the login page and click the SIGN IN button. Alternatively if not registered he can click on Sign Up Now to register before he can start using Bharat Trade Services. 
Go to MANAGE E- gatepass
In the E-gatepass Search page, enter the known search criteria in the respective fields and click the Search button. 
The search results displays the list of import & export containers which the user is authorized to assign a Haulier. . Click on the respective checkbox to nominate.
Once the record is selected, the Nominate button is displayed at the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Click the Nominate button to continue.Can multiple containers be selected for nomination at one time.
In the Print e-gatepass page click the icon Additional Details to provideadditional mandatorty information (in case it has not yet been provided while generating Import Release or Export Pre-Advice).

The details of the selected Nomination Id are displayed in the Nominate Transporter page. 
- Click the Back button to go back to the e-gatepass search screen.
- The Print Active e-gatepass button shall be available only if the status of any of the selected container(s) is Active (i.e all required details have been submitted in the Nominate section) and clicking the button shall print the details of container(s) with Active status.
