Overview

Time slots are received from remote terminal system, Navis. However, a user with the role and privileges of an MS Admin can also access time slot management.

Steps to Creating Time Slot

Sign in to DR Trade Application by providing the Username and Password in the login page and click the SIGN IN button.

Go to MANAGE --> Gate -> Timeslot Management

 

The Time Slot Search page is displayed. Click the "+" icon to create a new time slot.

 

The ‘Time Slot Details’ form is loasded on screen. Complete the mandatory fields, and click on Submit.

Some fields are defined below. Follow the description of the fields to enter correct values.

 

  • SP Name – Select the SP Name from the drop down list. Based on the client registration, all the Service Provider names will display in the list.

  • Type: Select the type of container from the dropdown.

  • From Date – From Date defines the start date of time slot. The date can be selected from current date. User cannot select past date.

  • To Date – To Date defines the end date of time slot. User can select End date as 6 months from the start date. User cannot select date, which is less than From date.

Note:

From date and To date can be same date.

  • Select Days – Based on the From and To date, the days will be displayed in the Select Days drop down list. For example, if user selects only one day for time slot, then only the selected day will display in drop-down. Similarly, if user selects two weeks, then all seven days will display.

  • Duration

    • If user selects any predefined duration other than "Variable", then based on selected duration time-slot will load. Example: If user selects two hours, then twelve rows will display with two hours interval.

    • If user selects Variable, then system will load one row but user needs to define start time and end time.

      • Start time will always start from 00:00 hrs.

      • User cannot select time less than 30 minutes.

  • Enter the appropriate values in the Event Details section.

 

Checkbox – Enter the Quantity in first row, apply the same quantity by clicking on checkbox and click the Apply button to copy the first row values.

  • Start Time - Based on selected Duration, Start Time will display. For 30 minutes, 1hour and 2 Hour duration, start time will display from 00:00. For variable, start time will be 00:00 and based on first row end time, next row will start with start time as end time of the previous row. For example, if the start time is 00:00 and the end time is 02:00, and the user clicks on "+", then new row will start with start time as 02:00.

  • End Time – Based on selected Duration, End Time will display. For 30 minutes, 1hour and 2 Hour duration, End time will display as per duration. For variable, start time will be 00:00 and user can change the End Time. Minimum time gap will be 30 minutes. User can select any time as End Time.

  • General - It defines how many General containers are available for selected slot. In Truck Appointment, all the general count will be considered first and following with the remaining criteria.

  • Additional criteria:

 

  • Quantity - Defining Total count of all values. Based on above selection it will display total how many containers are available for that duration.

  • Apply - General row will be available, where user can specify quantity. User needs to click on Check boxes and click the Apply button to copy the values from first row.

 

Note: In View and Amend screen, there will be two sub columns Planned and Booked for General, ISO, Port, Priority, Premium, Quantity columns.

  • Planned will display actual created quantity

  • Booked will display how many are Booked in available Quantity.

 

Click the Back button, the following alert popup window will display. Click Ok to continue.

To clear all data, click the Reset button. An alert popup window will display to confirm the action.. Click OK to continue.

 

Click the Submit button to save the data.

 

The Confirmation pop up window appears. Click Ok button to continue.

The success screen is displayed as below,

Note: Click the Back button to go back to the Time Slot search page.

View Time Slot

  1. The Time Slot Search page is displayed. Select the Location and SP Name from the drop down list and also enter the known search criteria in the respective fields and click the Search button.

The Time Slot for the 12 months from the current month is displayed. Click the CSV icon to download the time slot in an excel spreadsheet.

 

The Download CSV pop up window will be displayed. Select the appropriate values from the available fields to download the time slot in a csv format.

 

The downloaded CSV Time Slot will be as below,

 

Click the PDF icon to download the time slot in a pdf format.

 

The Time Slot will be viewed in a pdf format as below,

 

Click the date to view the Time Slot details for a particular date.

 

The Time Slot details for the selected date is displayed as below,

Note: Click the Back button to go back to the previous screen.

 

Amending a time slot

The Time Slot Search page is displayed. Select the Location and SP Name from the drop down list and also enter the known search criteria in the respective fields and click the Search button.

The Time Slot is displayed. Click the date to edit the Time Slot details.

 

The Time Slot details for the selected date is displayed. Click the Edit icon to modify the event details.

 

Modify the details and click the Submit button.

Note: While amending the time slot after the truck appointment, the planned value should not be lesser than the booked value.

 

The confirmation pop up window is displayed. Click the Ok button to continue.

 

The success screen is displayed for the amendment as below,

 

The Time Slot details for the selected date is displayed. Click the Copy icon to copy the event details to different date range.

 

The Copy Event pop up window is displayed. Select the values from available fields and click the Ok button to copy.

If a time slot already exists for the selected time, or a TA exists for the selected date range, then the following alert messages are shown.

 

An alert pop up window is displayed for the confirmation of the new timeslot . Click the Ok button to continue.

 

The copied data can be viewed in the Time Slot page.

Cancelling the Time Slot

Any timeslots can be cancelled for which the Truck Appointment is not created.

The Time Slot Search page is displayed. Select the Location and SP Name from the drop down list and also enter the known search criteria in the respective fields and click the Search button.

 

The Time Slot for the 12 months from the current month is displayed. Click the Cancel button to cancel the timeslot.

 

The Cancel pop up window will be displayed. Select the appropriate values from the available fields to cancel the time slot.

 

If a Truck appointment exists for the chosen date range, a pop up alert will appear as below:

 

An Alert pop up window is displayed after the cancellation of the selected date's time slot.

 

The time slot has been cancelled and can be viewed in the Time Slot page.
