Overview

The Hold and Release Container module will allow authorized DR Trade users to submit a hold request for a container. The information will be passed to relevant authorities of the request and DR Trade user will be informed of hold status. Once a container is put on hold, the user may request to release the hold.

Release Container

Follow the steps below to create a container release request.

Creating a container Release request

Sign in to DR Trade Application by providing the Username and Password in the login page and click the SIGN IN button.

Go to MANAGE -> Shipment -> Release Hold Advice

 

The Release Container Search page is displayed. Enter the known search criteria in the respective fields and click the Search button. In the Search Result, click the check box(s) to release the hold request.

 

Click the View link, to view the additional details of the request. An Additional Details pop up window appears as below,

Click the Reset button to clear all the entered filter criteria.

 

In the search page, select the Container Number(s) by clicking the checkbox(s) and click the Release button to release the request.

 

The Release Hold pop up window appears. By default, Release Now option will be selected.

 

If Release Later option is selected, enter the date and time in the Date & Time field.

Click the Add button to add the attachments (if any). Max 2 files are allowed with each 2 MB size maximum.

Enter the remarks in the Remarks field.

Click the Release button, the status of the selected containers will change to Released.

Click the Cancel button, then the popup window will close and Status of selected containers will remain same.

 

 

 

The Status is changed from On Hold to Released.



  • MS Admin, Terminal Operator (TO) Admin and Port Authority (PA) Admin can view all the Hold requests.

  • TO Admin and PA Admin can raise a Hold request for the other user(s).

  • For TO Admin and PA Admin, an additional field Silent Hold will be displayed in the Hold Details section.

If the user does not have permission to release a hold, they will not see the Release button.
