Overview
This section explains how Vessel Visit Management supports the basic operation.

Vessel Visit Create
This section describes how to enable a vessel and have transactions with your terminal, you must create a Vessel Visit in the system. A Vessel Visit is a record that specifies the Visit details including Estimated dates, Voyage No.’s, designated route of the visit, and the line operators for the Visit.
When you create a vessel visit, you must assign it with a vessel name. The vessel name is a smart search that will help out to select any pre-registered Vessel, refer to Vessel Create to know more. By default, the system associates a service schedule with a Vessel which is then imported to the Vessel Visit.
Steps
To create vessel visit:
Go to Manage>Operations and select Voyage Maintenance.
On the left navigation menu that appears, click Vessel Register icon.
On the Visit Register page, configure the fields described in the following table and then click NEXT.
Note:The Vessel Details page is displayed.
To clear the information entered in each field at once, click Reset, then re-enter the required information in each field.

Site/ Wharf | The Site/Wharf code, is automatically picked from the top Nav bar. |
Lead Shipping Agent* | Click on the search icon and select the leading shipping agent for the Visit. |

Import Terminal Voyage* | The field is to provide the Inbound voyage number for the Import visit |
Export Terminal Voyage* | The field is to provide the Outbound voyage number for the Export visit. |
Port of Origin* | The port of origin where the visit originated from. |
ETA* | The field is to provide the Estimated Time of Arrival |
ETD* | The field is to provide the Estimated Time of Departure |
4. On the Vessel Details page, in the Vessel Name, IMO#* field, select the Vessel to associate with the vessel visit (vessel that is already created).

5. To add new vessels, click ADD NEW VESSELS.

6. Enter the ICS details, if needed, configure the fields described in the following table:
Field Name | Description |

First Port of Entry | This field indicates the first port of entry of a physical vessel. |
Date of Arrival | This field indicates the arrival date of a physical vessel. |
IMO# | This field indicates the vessel IMO number. |
7. Click Service Schedule Details, and enter the service routing details.
