Summary

This user guide discusses the Voyage Maintenance process, and consists of the following sections

Overview

Cargoes Community System (CCS) is a web-based system for managing Container, Cargo, Breakbulk, Bulk, and RORO operations designed by DP World. CCS consists of modules that provide functions and features for the management of seaside, quay, yard, rail, and gate operations for handling such as breakbulk, bulk, and unitized-piece cargo.

The functions of the Voyage Maintenance module are supported for both TOS and NON-TOS when applicable. In TOS & Non-TOS Site, Vessel and Vessel Visit transactions with the terminal are managed by using Voyage Maintenance. The Voyage Maintenance functions and features allows to manage the following:

• Vessel Management

• Vessel Visit Management

Vessel Management

The Vessel Management supports few basic operations as follows:

• Vessel Create: Describes how to create a Vessel and allows users to provide the basic information related to the Vessel. Any vessel created in the Voyage Maintenance module can then be used during Visit creation.

• Vessel Amendment: Describes how to amend a Vessel and allows users to change basic information related to Vessel. The updated changes then reflect on the the newly created Vessel Visit.

• Vessel Cancellation: Describes how to cancel a Vessel Registered in CCS.

Vessel Visit Management

The Vessel Visit Management supports few basic operations as follows:

• Vessel Visit Create: Describes how to create a vessel visit and specifies the basic transaction details, such as the vessel assigned to the vessel visit, the estimated arrival and departure schedules of the vessel, and the operators involved in the vessel visit.
  The users can either create a Vessel record through Vessel Management and associate it with the vessel visit or can on-the-go create it during Visit Registration.

• Vessel Visit Amendment: Describes how to update vessel visit information, such as Visit Information, actual arrival & departure schedules, Port of calls and Partner Shipping Line and the supported operation mode of the vessel during the vessel visit. The users can also update the visit status of a vessel visit, such as Arrived, or Departed.

• Vessel Visit Cancellation: Describes how to cancel an existing Vessel Visit. Once a Vessel Visit is canceled all relevant units are canceled.
