Before we start
Here are some things to know before you begin the registration process:
- Clients based in the Dominican Republic can register their companies on the DR Trade platform, for managing their terminal and container related activities, through this web application.
- The process involves submission of client details, and approval of the registration request
- This document covers how to register to the DR Trade platform as a user. The steps to modify an existing user account after it is approved, are also explained here. After modification, the request is subject to approval again.
- During the registration submission, any client representative should nominate an Admin user for creating, modifying, or managing sub-user accounts. The admin's account gets activated only after client registration is approved by both internal users and other authorities (wherever applicable).

How do I access the Client Registration Service?
Follow the steps below to access the DR Trade account registration page.
- Go to the DR Trade application link.
- Click on Sign up Now link to take you to the client registration page.

How do I register as a user with DR Trade?
Below is a step by step guide to register yourself with the DR Trade application.
Submitting the registration details
- Provide all the mandatory information in this form, and then click on Submit.

Client DetailsThis section is for the company related details. Registered As: If your company is registered as a Free Zone, or OEA (Authorized Economic Operator), or both, you can specify it in this field. |

Client TypeService Provider* : The service provider can be either of the following values, to be chosen from a drop-down list. In order to select multiple values, click on the sign to the right.
Location* : Based on the Service provider chosen by you, the location drop-down list will be populated, and you can select a value. In case you want to select multiple locations, then click on the sign. SP Name* : The Service Provider Name is automatically populated based on the Service provider and Location. You will not be able to enter free text here. Client Type* : DR Trade allows different client types to register themselves, the options are available in this drop-down. If you want to register as multiple client types, then click on the sign. Alternatively, in order to delete a row, click on the sign. For each Client type you will be asked to provide the values for relevant details, as shown in the screenshot below. Code: The codes provided by the issuer (e.g. terminal operator) to various client types ( like shipping line, customs agent, trucking company etc.) after registration.

Admin DetailsThe admin is a representative of the company that you have registered in the first section. Provide all the necessary details of the admin who will access this account. Important: All communication will be sent to the email id that you enter in the Primary Email ID field. Confirm the primary email id again in the Confirm Email ID field. |

AttachmentsBased on the client type selected the documents are displayed in the Attachments section. User should enter the details of the document in the respective field and upload the related document types which are mapped to the client types. Below is a list of all possible attachments you might be asked to upload:

2. After entering all the mandatory fields, click on the Submit button to save the data.
A pop up window will display for the confirmation. Click the OK button.

Click the Reset button to clear all the data entered. Click the Back button to go back to the login screen. |
3. The success screen with the client and admin details is displayed.
4. Click the Search icon , to edit and cancel the registration before the activation.
5. Enter the Registration and Admin Email ID and click the Retrieve button to continue.
6. The status of the registration is displayed. Click the Registration ID link to view the details.
7. Click the Cancel button to cancel the request.
8. The confirmation message pop up window is displayed. Click the OK button.
9. Click the Edit button to modify the registration details.
10. Modify the respective fields and click the Submit button to save the changes.
11. The confirmation message pop up window is displayed. Click the OK button to confirm.
12. The below screen appears once the registration form is successfully submitted.
13. Once you've submitted the registration form and received the above confirmation message, you'll get an acknowledgement email from DR Trade. Kindly wait for the registration request to be approved.
Approval and Email Notification
Registration Acknowledgment email will be sent to the user in the below format:
Once the registration is approved, the user will receive an activation mail in the below format:
When the user clicks the Activate link provided in the email, the link will navigate to user activation page.
If you click on the URL, it also redirects you to the user activation page, same as above, but you have to enter the activation Id in the Activation Id field.
Enter all the fields, and follow the instructions for selecting a new password. Click on the Submit button and click OK on the confirmation popup.
Click the link click here to navigate to the DR Trade Sign In page. In the DR Trade Sign In page, enter the Username, Password and click the SIGN IN button.
After logging in the user will be redirected to the DR Trade home page as below.
