This guide is designed to help users navigate and become familiar with the Global Landing Page. The page is organized into several sections from top to bottom and left to right:

Initial Login Experience:

Upon logging in, users will be prompted to select a location/terminal. For msadmin or terminal operator users, multiple locations may be available, whereas users such as Shipping Agents will typically see only one location.

Sections Overview

  1. Top Nav Bar

a.      DP World Logo:

                                                              i.      Functions as a home button, returning the user to the landing page.

b.      Menu Items:

                                                              i.      Provides access to various menus based on user type. Selecting an item navigates to its respective UI.

                                                             ii.      Example: Clicking Manage ----> File Upload navigates user to the File Upload page.

c.      Location Bar

                                                              i.      This location bar is a smart search bar for the user to switch to a different location if the user has access to multiple locations.

d.      User Information Icon

                                                              i.      This icon is in  a circular shape and right next to location smart search bar

                                                             ii.      Upon Clicking of this icon, user information is displayed. The user’s company and role is displayed here.

e.      Web Notifications

                                                              i.      Representation & Default Option

  1. This is represented by a bell icon located next to the user information icon. Upon clicking of this bell icon, an expanded web notification dialogue box is shown that displays the Critical, All and Unread web notifications.

  1. Critical web notifications are selected, and user has the option to view All or Unread notifications.

  1. The notifications have been displayed for the last 7 days.

                                                             ii.      Notification Forwarding

  1. This is an option to forward this web notification. This is represented by the mail icon.

  1. Upon clicking of this icon, a Forward Options pop up is displayed. This pop up will by default select user’s own registered email address. But the user has an option to forward this notification to another user’s email address as well. A user can add a maximum of 10 email addresses.

  1. Clicking on the Send button will execute the notification forwarding.

                                                           iii.      Notification Removal and Undoing

  1. Notification removal can be performed by clicking on the X icon which is displayed when a user hovers over the notification heading.

  1. Clicking on this X icon will remove this notification from the expanded notification dialog box.

  1. Once a notification has been removed an Undo button is visible to reverse the removed notification.

                                                           iv.      Additional Details

  1. Upon clicking of any notification heading additional notification attributes are shown by expanding the displayed notification.

                                                             v.       View Details

  1. User also has the option to view even more details by clicking on the View Details button.

  1. Upon clicking of the View Details button, the user is navigated to respective functional screen based on the web notification generated.

a.      E.g. If a service announcement is created and the user clicks on the View details button, then the user is navigated to the Announcements landing page.

f.        Language Options

                                                              i.      This is a dropdown for selecting the language, defaulting to English (EN).

g.       More Options Icon

                                                              i.      This is represented by 3 vertical dots on the far right corner.

                                                             ii.      Upon Clicking of this icon, more options of Company Search, User Profile and Logout are available for the user.

                                                           iii.      Clicking on Company Search or User Profile will navigate the user to Client Registration Screen

                                                           iv.      Clicking on Logout will log the user out of the application back to Login Option Screen.

  1. Welcome Message and Favorite Links

a.      This section displays the welcome message for the logged in user.

b.      Favorite Links  are displayed on the right side of the Welcome message

c.      For a first time logged in user, these links are selected by the company administrator and a minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 are available to be displayed.

d.      Edit Links Button

                                                              i.      There is an Edit Links button on the far right for the user to add/remove the favorite links.

                                                             ii.      Upon clicking of this button, an Edit Links pop up is displayed.

  1. This pop up contains a search bar to search for any menu that a user wants to add provided user has access to this menu.

  1. Additionally all the available menus for the user are displayed with icons row wise.

  1. There is a reset and Save button at the bottom of this pop up.

  1. Any selected favorite menu item is shown with a tick on top of that menu icon and the icon is darker in color.

  1. User can click on the menu icon again to remove the selected favorite menu.

  1. Similarly to add new favorite menu items, users can click on the non-selected menu icons and then click on save button.

  1. Clicking on the Reset button will remove any changes made by the user.

  1. User can only select a maximum of 6 menu items to be displayed on landing page and a minimum of 2 menu items.

a.      If less than 2 menu items are selected, then save button is disabled.

b.      Similarly if more than 6 menu items are selected then the most recently selected menu items will be displayed on the landing page.

  1. Announcements

a.      This section displays the 5 most recent announcements for the logged in user.

b.      There is a View All hyperlink available for the user to view all the announcements.

c.      Upon clicking of this hyperlink user is navigated to Announcements landing page.

  1. Image Carousel

a.      This section shows the different images of the selected terminal.

b.      The number of dots or circles below the image displays the number of available images for the selected terminal.

c.      Clicking on these dots/circles user can change the displayed image and see a different one.

  1. Recent Activity

a.      This section displays the 4 most recent activities performed by the logged in user.

b.      Clicking on an activity navigates to the respective functionality page.

                                                              i.      e.g. Example: Clicking on a scheduled report activity navigates to the Scheduled Reports page.

  1. Useful Links

a.      This section displays any additional user-specific and location-specific links.

b.      Not all user types or terminals can see this section on the landing page.

 

  1. Training Links

a.      This section provides access to training materials and user guides, which can be viewed or downloaded.

                                                              i.      e.g. Upon clicking the Play button of the video , the user should be navigated to the video link. e.g. YouTube link. Similarly upon clicking of the document type (e.g. pdf) the document should be opened in a new tab.

  1. Feedback

a.      This section allows users to submit product feedback with a rating from 1 to 5 stars and up to 250 characters of text.

b.      User can provide feedback multiple times.

c.      Upon Clicking Submit button user’s feedback is submitted successfully.

  1. Footer

a.      The Footer section displays links to various sections such as Solutions, Industries, Insights, About Us and  Contact information.

b.      Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions are also available.

c.      Clicking any footer link opens a new tab with the relevant information.
